I first made these crackers when I was a nanny. The recipe is scribbled in my journal from that time with entries of all the fun antics the boys did while I took care of them.
Since then, I’ve loved making graham crackers for cabin vacations and relaxed evenings. They are an absolute hit! It’s hard to go back to store bought graham crackers after tasting these and they are so easy to make. I guarantee you will not regret giving these a try. Please let me know in the comments below if you try them and what you think! I love to hear from you all.
2 1/4 cups flour
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup water
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup butter, melted
Preheat oven to 350 fahrenheit degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment. In a large bowl combine the dry ingredients. Add wet ingredients on top of dry and then stir until it is all combined.

Place dough on cookie sheet:

And then use a rolling pin to flatten to about a quarter inch. Using a knife create squares for whatever size desired for your graham crackers. Use a fork to make fork patterns on the crackers.

Sprinkle with some cinnamon and then bake for 18 minutes. Once removed from oven, cool for a few minutes and then recut the cracker lines and let cool for a few more minutes. Move to a cooling rack and let rest.

Who else loves a good s’more?
